Dr. Lanny Brustein is a Doctor of Chiropractic, skilled in the art and science of human biomechanics. The musculo-skeletal frame and its movable parts tend to deviate from normal positioning affecting nerve signals to the brain via the spinal cord and back to the body.

The spine is composed of vertebrae (24) creating a canal designed to protect the cord. When any two (2) vertebrae have misaligned this refers to a vertebral subluxation. The word subluxation is derived from the Latin term Sub (“slight”) and Luxate (“to misalign”).

The Chiropractor realigns the spine performing an adjustment. This involves manual application of a controlled force to realign the spinal vertebrae (or extremity) restoring normal motion and alleviate pain.
